GENERATIVE ART
refers to art that in whole or in part has been created with the use of an autonomous system. In Skruput's case we see artwork that has been created by algorithms or random processes without decisions made directly by him. However, he created the systems and can claim that the generative system represents his own artistic idea, and that the system takes on the role of co-creator.
Skruput's work is algorithmically determined computer generated art, often animated and sometimes minted into NFTs.
POLYGONISM
is the style so specific to Skruput. It's not only a new "-ism", that he has created. it's a genuine, profoundly new subset of geometric art. It consists of very few polygons (often just triangles) presented as art in a format that can be compressed and animated.
He minted the term Polygonism, not because there are not enough "-isms", but because his art is different. At least that's what he claims.
SING
is a recursive acronym for "Sing Is Not Gif". It is also the format used by Skruput to animate some of the digital artwork, since it is so much more compact than videos or Gifs. Others call the format SVG...
NFT
Non-Fungible Tokens live on a blockchain and can point to some art somwhere in virtual space. NFTs can even contain embedded digital art, if it is small enough.
